Bringing Communications
to Disaster Areas

We are always learning, testing and implementing traditional and new technologies for communications post a natural disaster. And now we are offering local governments, corporations, NGOs and others the chance to learn from our knowledge.

CONSULTING

We are now ready to offer a vast array of satellite communications options to be used during and after a large scale disaster. From On-The-Move solutions for field deployable teams, to field base and home base communications. While we are currently working with Caribbean governments to help their first responders and disaster related industries be prepared, we are eager to start working with your organization.

We do not provided equipment or communications services. We implement plans on how to better achieve the goal and we then refer you to the companies that you will ultimately use.

Sample Cases:

#1 – A French/German investor is looking to invest in health care (hospitals/clinics) in several Caribbean islands and has reached out to us to create a plan that will cover all of their hospital facilities and at least 100 field units which range from ambulances to field medics. They want to make sure that each entity can have constant communications even after a destructive hurricane or earthquake. Their budget being only $500,000 makes it difficult to find not only the services but also the equipment. We came up with a satellite package that would be implemented by 3 different satellite companies and can be rolled out in 60 days after signing.

#2 – Local Caribbean Health Ministry wants us to come up with a solution that will have an investment of less than $100,000 for 8 locations, and that internet services will only start being billed when the system is activated after a disaster has happened. We came up with a solution on a pay-per-use schedule, only $65,000 in equipment including backup power. And added 10 additional individual mobile access systems for key personnel. The cost of usage was above the original budget but now they have a $35,000 to use for usage or additional equipment.

#3 – A Texas executive wanted us to make sure his family is safe during and post a disaster. We were happy to consult and implement 6 satellite mobile hotspots at a cost of less than $100/month for each system. And add the ability for his staff to send texts via satellite in case of an emergency on a prepaid basis.
